Common questions
How do I delete my account?
In the Mosena app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data — journal entries, mirror reflections, pattern cards, and analytics. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
If you can't access the app, email support@mosena.app with the email address on the account and we'll process the deletion within 48 hours.
How do I export my data?
Email support@mosena.app from the address on your account and we'll send you a JSON export — your entries and the patterns derived from them — within 48 hours. In-app export is coming in a future release.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in the European Union. Voice recordings are transcribed via OpenAI and the audio is not retained after transcription. For a full breakdown of what we collect, why, and with whom we share it, see our Privacy Policy.
Is Mosena a crisis service?
No. Mosena is a journaling and reflection tool, not a crisis service, therapist, or medical device. If you're in distress, please contact a local crisis line. You can find one anywhere in the world at findahelpline.com.
How much does Mosena cost?
Mosena is free during early access. We will introduce paid plans later; current users will get advance notice and the option to keep using the free tier or upgrade.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password. We'll email a 6-digit code to the address on the account — enter it on the next screen to set a new password. If you don't receive the code within a few minutes, check spam or email support@mosena.app.
I think I found a bug.
Email support@mosena.app with a short description, the iOS version, and a screenshot if possible. We read every report.
Can I use Mosena instead of therapy?
No. Mosena does not provide diagnosis, medical advice, or treatment. It's designed as a companion between sessions for people already working with a therapist, in a journaling practice, or trying to understand what keeps repeating. If you're considering therapy, please reach out to a licensed professional.
